This memory starts with the scenery rapidly changing. You'e moving from treetop to treetop swiftly, towards the noise of some battle. You can only guess what it is-- there's not many things around here that can make that kind of noise.
Not that there's anything you can do about that, right?
You don't now, or maybe you'll decide when you get there. When you finally make it in distance you pull behind a tree and listen. It's several girls. One of which saying she wants to fight now and get it over with, the others seem to be trying to tell her to settle down. There might be another way.
One of the girls you definitely know as Mai, Takumi's sister.
The other girl, Nao, doesn't give up and so the other girls retaliate in defense, trying to stop her. You don't see it, but you hear it. The sound of agony. You don't chance to glance around, but Nao was definitely hurt.
You'll find out one of her eyes was seriously injured, but for now she seems to be blaming Mai. But Mai appears to be shocked about the accident, especially as she was the one rallying to have them not fight in the first place. It's after this injury that the girl decides to withdraw.
"...So they've already started."
You say it to yourself before moving into the branches of the trees once more. It was only a matter of time.
